We just added several new bungee chairs to SeatingZone.com that we’re particularly excited about.  Personally,  I’m enamored with the va-va-voom pink Fastrack 43205 Bungee Low Back Armless Task Chair:

Tickled Pink

I’m still so excited about my bungee chair, I wanted to follow up my description yesterday with a picture post today.  I hear there aren’t many of these gorgeous pink chairs left, so grab one while you still can.

The pictures we have on the SeatingZone website don’t quite do justice to the eye-catching brightness of the true color. Also check out this shot to see the way the cords line up to give gentle lumbar support.

Bungee Bouncing

So today is Day 4 of sitting on my brand new Seatability Elite bungee chair, and the verdict is… I love it!

I talk to a lot of people on the phone who have seen or heard about bungee chairs, but are a little nervous if they’ll really be comfortable. I always tell them: we’ve been selling these bungee chairs for some time now, and so far we haven’t gotten a single return. Now I understand why! The Seatability Elite is simply a very comfortable office chair. Slightly firmer than the usual foam cushion, the cords have just the right amount of tension to keep me from gradually slouching lower in my seat over the course of the day.

Not only that, but the Elite also features ratchet arms that adjust vertically and forward and back, plus a tilt mechanism that allows you to set and lock the chair in many different positions.

And of course, let’s not forget how stylish it looks! A lot of people scoff at the idea of a pink chair, but personally I just love the way that bright color stands out among all the plain black seats my coworkers use. And there’s also some cool hexagon-pattern detailing on the armrests.

All in all, it’s clear that Seatability has paid a lot of attention to the smallest details to make sure the Elite bungee chair is one of the most comfortable and stylish office chairs around.

Valentine Chair

<a href=" Happy Valentine’s Day! Last week, the other girl and I got the idea to ask Seatability to send us one of their awesome bungee chairs. I’ve written about these before, because I always thought the pictures and concept seemed so cool, but I’d never sat in one, and we were both eager to try it out for ourselves.

Well, the boys over at Seatability were nice enough to send over on of their Elite Series Management Task chairs — in bright pink! Of course, every purchase of these pink chairs includes a donation to breast cancer research, but we like to think of it as an extra-sweet Valentine’s gift!

And you know what they say: good ergonomic design beats candy and flowers any day. (Well, maybe only I say that.)

Sit For a Cure

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so if you’re thinking about investing in a new chair, now’s the perfect time to think about going pink! So who will win? It’s a close match… The folks at Seatability like to brag that their flat cords are like sitting on air, so you hardly notice them. But while the Balt round cords definitely offer a more noticeable bungee experience, some people feel it’s almost like getting a massage. So… Judges? What do you think? Who should win the trophy?

Bungee Chairs

Can an ugly office chair bring about major depression? Probably not, but a snappy design in a bright color can definitely perk you up on an otherwise dreary day on the cube farm. I know whenever I see an ordinary chair upholstered in beige or gray or some drab, nausea-inducing pattern, I just want to turn around and head back to bed.
