Stacking Rubber Bands

‘Tis the season for scrambling to get new supplies for the fall!  School will be back in session soon, of course, but even in the business world, life is going to start speeding up soon, with conferences and meetings and the like.

If you’ve been tasked with purchasing stackable chairs for a lecture or conference, you might consider these hyper-comfortable bungee seats from Seatability.

Following a brand new design, the S1179 Solice Bungee Stacker is sure to get noticed and talked about, and the springy support of the bungee cords is guaranteed to keep people from squirming in their seats, even through the longest of speeches.

Bungee 2.0: the next generation

Just as I was getting accustomed to my fabulous bungee chairs, the folks at Seatability have brought out a whole new design!

The new Solace chairs have the same perfectly comfortable, resilient flat bands as the old ones, plus a new 2-to-1 synchronized tilt mechanism for extra adjustability.

Also nifty: Seatability has introduced a version with a bungee back and a foam seat! So if any of you were intrigued by the idea of bungee lumbar support, but nervous about sitting on rubber bands all day… STB-S2159 is the chair for you!

Tickled Pink

I’m still so excited about my bungee chair, I wanted to follow up my description yesterday with a picture post today.  I hear there aren’t many of these gorgeous pink chairs left, so grab one while you still can.

The pictures we have on the SeatingZone website don’t quite do justice to the eye-catching brightness of the true color. Also check out this shot to see the way the cords line up to give gentle lumbar support.

A shot of the neat hexagon-patterned armrests I mentioned yesterday.

There it is, getting used to its new home. Thanks again to the guys at Seatability for letting us try it out!

Bungee Bouncing

So today is Day 4 of sitting on my brand new Seatability Elite bungee chair, and the verdict is… I love it!

I talk to a lot of people on the phone who have seen or heard about bungee chairs, but are a little nervous if they’ll really be comfortable. I always tell them: we’ve been selling these bungee chairs for some time now, and so far we haven’t gotten a single return. Now I understand why! The Seatability Elite is simply a very comfortable office chair. Slightly firmer than the usual foam cushion, the cords have just the right amount of tension to keep me from gradually slouching lower in my seat over the course of the day.

Not only that, but the Elite also features ratchet arms that adjust vertically and forward and back, plus a tilt mechanism that allows you to set and lock the chair in many different positions.

And of course, let’s not forget how stylish it looks! A lot of people scoff at the idea of a pink chair, but personally I just love the way that bright color stands out among all the plain black seats my coworkers use. And there’s also some cool hexagon-pattern detailing on the armrests.

All in all, it’s clear that Seatability has paid a lot of attention to the smallest details to make sure the Elite bungee chair is one of the most comfortable and stylish office chairs around.

Battle of the Bungee Chairs

Welcome, one and all, to the Battle of the Bungees!

Over here, in one corner, we have the Seatability Elite, the reigning champion, known for its flat bungee cords…

And over here in the other corner, we’ve got the Balt Seatflex line, a scrappy upstart who believes in the power of round bungee cords.

So who will win? It’s a close match… The folks at Seatability like to brag that their flat cords are like sitting on air, so you hardly notice them. But while the Balt round cords definitely offer a more noticeable bungee experience, some people feel it’s almost like getting a massage. So… Judges? What do you think? Who should win the trophy?

We all know how much I love colorful chairs, but did you know that you can brighten more than just your own day with a vibrant color choice?

With every purchase of a Seatability Pink Elite Task Chair, $10 will be donated to the Komen for the Cure foundation, supporting breast cancer prevention research.  So if you’ve been thinking about getting yourself one of these stylish and comfortable bungee chairs in an eye-catching color, now you have one more great reason.

Still not sure?  Read more about bungee chairs here and here.
